I am an Emmy-nominated media professional.
Life has been quite the adventure.
After graduating with a degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Colorado, I joined Teach For America and spent three years teaching first grade at an Achievement First charter school in New Haven, Connecticut.
My next opportunity took me back to my journalistic roots as a script writer for the 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games.
I moved to New York City in the summer of 2013 and freelanced as a researcher/assistant editor at a small production house. I worked on shows for networks such as Bloomberg TV and the MSG Network. One of my projects included work on an Emmy Award-winning television series.
My journey continued, and I took a position as a project manager for a season long documentary with CrossFit HQ. With this role, I had the opportunity to travel the country and take on different responsibilities for multiple live sporting events.
I have put myself back behind the camera as a photographer. My images have been featured by Mercedes-Benz, MBUSA, ClassPass, Chrysler, and BuzzFeed (just to name a few). I freelance as a producer for CrossFit HQ for their Regional and Games coverage inside the Update Studio. I also produced an hour long television show for ESPN covering the 2015 Reebok CrossFit Games team competition, which aired at the end of October.
